WRITING
1
Read the powerpoint and learn all about World Book Day?
Draw yourself and the person you like to share books with. Read a book together
and draw a picture of the front cover.
Choose your favourite stories and read a book a day. Make a bookmark!
Use the speech bubbles to write what you think the characters are saying
to each other.
Cut out the 6 pictures to retell the story and place them in the correct
order. Write sentences to tell the story using the pictures to support you. Remember to
use a capital letter to start, finger spaces and a full stop to finish.
Draw your own terrible creature and write a description thinking carefully about it's
appearance.
Write a book review to recommend a book to a friend.
