"What is that?" said Fred quizzically.
"What is what?" answered Susan not looking up.
"That!" said Fred pointing out of the window.
"Oh," said Susan, finally putting her ipod touch down on the table, "it looks like snow."
"I thought so," said Fred, "and it's only October. Fantastic!"
"Don't get to excited," Susan said to her younger brother,
"It needs to settle if you want to go out and build a snowman."
"Who cares about building a snowman?" snapped back Fred, "I want to go sledging!"
"It still needs to settle if you want to do that too. You need lots of snow on the ground for that too.
So, Fred sat by the window all afternoon and late into the evening watching the tiny snow flakes falling on the freezing ground, hoping that the next day he could get his brand new sledge out.
