COVID in England?

First lockdown, 

No one to see, 

No one was around.

Only brothers to talk to,

And papers to write,

The virus is spreading,

And things are not alright.

The only thing that cheers us up,

I when we get a kitten,

He’s very soft and very gentle,

And not yet have I been bitten.

Summer comes and work, finished!

But still we can’t let our bubbles mix.

Normally I’d be in America,

But I'm almost about to start Y6.

Were back in school,

Till December then we come back in January.

Or will we?

No, cases are rising, but I got a PC!

So it's the second lockdown and at least we have zoom.

Were really struggling in a virtual classroom,

I have to listen to my brothers learning,

About Tutankhamun.

March takes long to come,

We are finally back in school

Its feeling so different,

And Mr Spencer can’t mute us all!

It's a few months before isolation,

We’re disappointed to miss our trip,

But we will be back soon,

In time for Monday to hop on a ship!

On Tuesday We’ll go bowling and jumping,

Then our sleepover( Mr Spencer thinks we’ll be asleep by 6PM )

Our water activities on Wednesday!

Hopefully it won’t be mayhem!

Thursday Some go Ape in the trees

Lots of fun for everybody.

Friday, our final goodbyes

All looking smart with perfect ties.

COVID hasn't beaten us 

Although It's still here

So much to look forward to 

And it's been an Outrageous year!
