Hello there Buddies!

Here is my project about The Egyptians. I made a gingerbread pyramid with my Nanny Jo.

Firstly, we made gingerbread and then we made triangle shapes. Once it had cooked, we stuck the triangles together with icing. It was very messy!!!

It took a day to go hard and then we covered it with some sandy coloured icing. After that, we had to make bricks. I was allowed to use the knife and Nanny Jo helped me to work it out. I made lines and then did marks downwards in the middle. It looked so cool.

I told Nanny that Egyptians liked cats a lot so my brother made one out of the spare icing. I think it is Iris. The desert is sandy and Nanny Jo had the idea of making a sort of sand pit. We put a bit of icing round the board and filled it with sand made out of icing.

Finally, we decorated it with hieroglyphics. I hope you like it but is so hard it might break your teeth if you eat it!

Thank you for listening.
