Dear Max Thunderman,

Yesterday my family and I went to see a good race between Lightning McQueen and Jackson Storm. This race had about 20 laps because the race track was shorter than usual. Before the race started my family and I made a competition between us who was going to win. My mum and I thought Lightning McQueen would win. My brother and my dad agreed that Jackson Storm was the best driver and was bound to be the winner.

Mater the tow truck said, 'Ready, set, go!' The race started great for Jackson Storm but not for McQueen, she was sleeping at the start so Jackson Storm was way ahead.10 laps were done so they both needed fresh and new tires. Lightning McQueen pitted first for her new tires.The lap after that Jackson Storm pitted and then they were close again so McQueen had a chance to win that trophy.

When 17 laps were done McQueen overtook Jackson Storm in the final 3 laps. In the final lap Jackson Storm was on McQueen's tail. My mum and I were excited and shouted, 'McQUEEN! McQUEEN!' The winner of the race was Lightning McQueen!!
