Welcome back to you all, hope you had a lovely Easter. Another term has gone and we arenow on to the busiest time of year, the Summer Term.

This term our topic is Wales and we will be finding out a lot about the features ofthe country we live in, looking in particular at tourist places like the Mumbles and Brecon Beacons. In Science we will also be learning about sound and finding out how we hear sound using our ear. For Literacy we will be starting by finishing off our discussion writing on zoos, then we will be writing reports about animals and plants and using the internet to research new facts to use in ourwriting. In Maths we will start by finishing off our work on money before moving on to preparing for the dreaded tests at the beginning of May.

Tomorrow (Tuesday 14th April), we will be going to Tesco Fforestfach to take part in a Farm to Fork workshop where we will be finding out how food ends upon our plate. Consent forms need to be returned before the visit if children are togo. We will also be involved in an exciting Art project this term whichbegins with a visit to Swansea City Centre on May 6th and is followed up by atwo day workshop in school in the first week of June.
