Book week.

Because of coronavirus, we couldn't have book week at the traditional time so instead, we had it this week. There were a few events that were all quite fun. During that week, the whole school read a picture book called "Look Back!" It was a mysterious book that was interesting to read but the ending was disappointing.

On Thursday, we had a author come to visit us. He was Matt Brown, who wrote the series of the Dreary Inkling Books. He was very funny and I enjoyed his visit. He gave us advise on how to make good character names and answered our questions. My favourite part of the visit was when he showed us comments on his books. At first, he went over the comments saying he "didn't want to brag" but he kept going back to show us some of the best compliments. Later, he sighed some of his books. Unfortunately, I didn't have any of his books and didn't order the sighed ones.

Friday was book day. Because "Look Back!" had a tropical background we were allowed to wear either a book character or tropical clothes. At first, I was going to go as a book character but as the costume didn't fit me, I went in a jumpsuit with tropical pictures. We finished off the book and did a review on it. I think that the whole of book week was pretty fun.
