This report is going to be a report about Koalas. In this report you're going to find out about habitat, predator, defense, food,birth,look,sense,young.


Birth of the Koala:

The Koalas are born in the size of a jelly bean they are born without ears. In fact they don't have a great sense of hearing. When the Koala turns six months it will come out from the pouch.


Young:

When they're born the Koalas can't eat leaves instead they nurse (nurse is when the Koala drinks milk to grow and gain weight.) The Koalas are actually pouch animals and is called a pap.


Food:

The Koalas start to eat Eucalyptus leaves at the age of 12 months this is the part where they start to grow. For the Koalas it is the only food they can eat but this is because this is the only food that's antibacterial. This means that if they eat another leave they will die.


Looks:

When the Koala starts to grow it's 10kg-20kg. Size: the Koala is 23.5inches till 33.5inches.


Sense:

The Koalas are great smellers this is because they have a big nose. The sense of smelling is very important this is because from the five sense it only has one that really works is smelling so they can't see the leaves they smell them.


Habitat:


The habitat that Koala's live is called the Eucalyptus Forest this is a forest that is found in the Southeast of Australia.


Predator:

The predators of this animal are owls,dingos and dogs these are animals that can clime or fly you ask your self why is a dog a predator but the dog is not the predator the owner is.


Defense:

The defense of a Koala isn't that special but quite clever this is how it works. The Koala basically just swings the sharp talon and kills it's predator.
