The Windsinger

Kestrel and Bowman, twins, with a dangerous journey looming in there future.

Their mission; find the Windsinger's voice, destroy the Morah and restore freedom to Aramanth.

Aramanth is their home, but they hate it more than anything. Their whole life is determined on exams, with the results they receive deciding where they can live, and what jobs they're allowed. The Morah controls this, making the city live in fear. Kestrel Hath discovered that, with the Windsinger's voice returned, Aramanth will be free from the Morah's clutch...

Star Wars contributed to a lot of ideas from this book, for example, going on a mission to restore freedom, and later in the trilogy, Bowman develops a force like power. Also, the mud people call the Morah the one they can not name, very similar to 'He Who Must Not Be Named', in Harry Potter.

On the whole this book was gripping and unputdownable until the last page. We recommend it -
