The children have not only been very busy rehearsing for our 'The Christmas Three' nativity, they have been learning about night time and day time animals and singing 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'. Together we read stories about owls and looked at some pictures of real owls out at night. We talked about the meaning of the word nocturnal and some of the children suggested other animals that come out at night. We have had lots of fun making stars with clay, construction kits and paper. The children have helped to make our class advent calendar using 2D shapes and their favourite Christmas pictures. It has been a fun week!
