Dear EYFS Parents and Carers,
This week's Butterfly homework is:
- The homework journal/scrapbook.
- Read your levelled reading book with your child each day and before you return the homework folder on Monday, write a comment in the reading record for your child's reading teacher.
- Read the picture book provided with your child - treat this like a fun Storytime with your child.
I have received some lovely photos via the photos@allsoulsprimary.co.uk email of children finding objects from around the house that have the 'i' phoneme in them - I will print these off and stick them in their class books. It's great to know they are practising their phonics sounds at home.
Caterpillars & Butterflies: In addition to the usual homework, there are the Parent Meeting Sign Up Sheets on your child's google classroom (Caterpillars & Butterflies) please use their log in details and write your child's name next to one of the time slots. Apologies if any parents tried to do this last night, when I checked the google classroom pages this morning, the sign up sheets weren't live. I had a look and realised I needed to press the 'Assign' button to make them live which I now have! If there are any further issues with the parent sign up sheets, please do let me know or email the office: office@allsoulsprimary.co.uk
