Why do we celebrate remembrance Day?

We celebrate remembrance day because we should show respect to those who died for us and future generations.We should also be grateful for what they have done for us.

When is remembrance day?

Remembrance day is on the 11th day of the 11th month on the 11th hour because that is when the 1st world war ended.We also have a Remembrance Sunday which is on the second Sunday of November.

Why do we wear poppies?

We wear poppies because it shows respect but it also represents the dead soldiers because in a field there was a battle and after it poppies started growing.The field is called Flanders field.

What happens on Remembrance Day?

On remembrance Day you can celebrate by doing a two-minute silence to remember soldiers or you could watch a parade or better make your own parade.

Who celebrates remembrance day?

Everybody because they want to be respectful for those who have died for them.People abroad celebrate this to and politicians do aswell
