Monty Booij's film review of 'Inside Out'.

Plot

The story is about a young girl and her parents when they move house and Riley has to move away from her old friends and make new friends at a new school. She becomes sad and lonely, she feels that people are very different to her because they don't play ice hockey. The plot is about how she deals with her situation and her emotions.

Characters

The charactecters are some little people in a girl's head, they represent five different emotions. The five emotions are joy, fear, anger, sadness and disgust. The girl's name is Riley and she has a mum and a dad. Joy is always trying to make things better for Riley, but the other emotions take over. Another character is Bing Bong, he is a clown from Riley's imagination.

Setting

Riley and her parents move from Minnesota to California. They move from a cold place where Riley can play ice hockey outside to a very sunny place where she can't play ice hockey. Her old home was very cosy and where she felt safe and her new home was empty and had ripped wall paper, she felt weird and unhappy in her new house.

My opinion

I liked this film because it has some emotions and when I first went to school I felt just like that.
