Have lots of opinions on 'Street Child' and all of them are positive. First, Street Child

is a good book so far as it includes how Jim is feeling, actions and speech are told which really makes me understand what it was like back-then and what conditions Jim and everyone else live in Victorian Era.

How has the story helped your understanding of life during the Victorian era?

This story has helped me understanding the Victorians because it includes how there

no electricity and technical devices back then. Jim also talks and describe how 'He ran along a carriage until he came to a dark alleyway' which really told a lot about the surroundings and how poor that time was. There was no cars -only carriages- and there were alleyways where poor Victorian Children would stay and beg for food or money.

Anything else you would like to add?

I would Like to add that this book is really nice as it does really tell people about the sad poverty every child could experience at any point in their life.
