11 DAYS TO GO!!!!

So not long now until the team and I travel to Gatwick for the first leg of a mammoth journey to Johannesburg then onto the Limpopo region via a long, hot sweaty and very bumpy bus journey.

What a fundraising journey it's been so far. Already the children, parents and staff of John Wesley have raised £1,200 towards the build of our creche facility. So far this has all been achieved by tireless volunteering from the children and a fantastic quiz evening attended by so many parents, friends and staff but the muddiest is yet to come!!

The creche facility that we are helping to fund alongside 14 others in our Purple Aid Team is going to provide a vital safety net for hundreds of toddlers in the village of Turkey in Limpopo who are at risk of Unthinkable dangers while their parents are forced to leave them to earn a living.

The Muddy Mile this week on Friday the 20th October has the potential to raise life-changing amounts of money for these children. Already you can see in the picture below how far your money is stretching.

This will be the first of many blogs I will be posting, so please keep an eye on the News section of our website to get video messages and updates direct from the project site when we arrive.

In the meantime, thank you in advance for your tremendous support with The Muddy Mile this and I will see you all on the sidelines for what is going to be a truly fantastic event.

Mr H.
