I would recommend this book for people who like: sailing, adventure and camps/camping.

This book is about 4 siblings and their 2 friends. The family sail at the lake district and camp out on an island for one night, but their ship is shipwrecked and so they camp out on dry land exploring the mountains until....

Though before you read that, you should read 'Swallows and Amazons' which introduce the islands and the characters and after that if you liked them the other adventure books he has written for children!
