ENTERPRISE

In microsociety ,we discussed what enterprise was (identifying gaps in the market, assessing risks, getting finance from the bank and persuading people to buy your product). We also looked at the civil service jobs in the UK.

Next we read the story `NOTENUF`,where the families realised they had to share. The families traded food packs.Even if they didn't like the food they knew they had to eat it so they traded and ate the food.

For part of our microsociety lesson on Friday, Mrs. Cranfield came into Sharman class to discuss her previous work in human resources. We took a business questionnaire to see our suitability to run or work for a business. The currency was chosen, which is called stoof, and is beginning to be produced on a larger scale.

Microsociety is a fun activity!
