CAFOD World Fast Day - Dig Deep for Lent

Today, CAFOD World Fast Day,we have encouraged our whole school community to "Dig Deep" to ensure families around the world  have enough food. The children have been doing this in a practical way by preparing our garden and sowing seeds. The plants we produce will be sold in the Spring to raise money for CAFOD. CAFOD, in turn, isworking with families in Sierra Leone to help them grow and sell their own food. 

All classes did their bit and got their hands dirty.
