The Circulatory System

There are 3 different parts in the

circulatory system. The Arteries,

the veins and the capillaries.

Arteries

Veins

Capillaries

Arteries are blood

vessles that carry

blood away from the

heart. This blood has

been oxegenated.

This means that it is

carrying blood with

oxygen in.

Veins are very important as

they carry deoxygenated

blood back to the heart. This meansthat the blood has had the oxygen taken out of it.

Capillaries are tiny. So tiny infact that red blood vessels have to

travel in single file to get to the

different parts of the body.
