Ares was the god of war and was one of the most hated gods, he was the son of Zeus & Hera (the king & queen of the gods). Ares was arguably attempted to be replaced by Athena (Goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, strategy, the arts, crafts)

Zeus was the king of the gods and husband of Hera and father of Ares. Zeus was the first of the gods and a completely (impressive/forcing (on people)/causing an inconvenient situation) parent. Often referred to as the" Father of Gods and men", he is a sky god who controls lightning ( often the usage of it as a weapon ) and thunder.

Poseidon was god of the sea, earthquakes, storms, and horses and is one of the most (quick to get very angry), moody and greedy Olympian gods. He was known to be revenge-loving when insulted. He is the son of Cronus and Rhea and was swallowed by his father along with Hades, Demeter, Hestia and Hera.

Hades

Hades was the god of the hell-like place/criminal organization and the name eventually came to also describe the home of the dead also. He was the oldest male child of Cronus and Rhea. Hades and his brothers Zeus and Poseidon defeated their father and the Important people to end their rule, claiming ownership of the universe

Athena

Athena, also known as Athene, is a very important goddess of many things. She is goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration,people, law and justice, (related to a plan to reach a goal) war fighting, mathematics, strength, (success plan(s)/way(s) of reaching goals), the arts, crafts, and skill. Athena was supposed to replace Ares but Ares represents the more physical part of war and Athena represents the more tactical side of war.

Aphrodite

Aphrodite is a Greek goddess connected to love and beauty, pleasure, passion and making babies. She is identified with the planet Venus, which is named after the Roman goddess Venus Aphrodite's major symbols include myrtles, roses, doves, sparrows.
