Lego world records
Although Lego can be seem as less "fun" for adults, it can be very popular to make records from it. Some of these records are amazing, which is why I would love to share them with you.
This family sized camper ,which took up to 12 weeks to make, has got all of the furniture you need: working water pipes, a kitchen, real lights, a seating area and beds!
This tower was built in Italy ,and it is 114 feet and 11 inches tall! It is the tallest structure built with Lego bricks. It took around 18,000 builders including children using 550,000 bricks in total!
Everyone thinks most kids have a few sets of Lego , but Kyle Ugone is different. He has built up to 1091 sets! Despite this, I think one day this record will be beaten.
A great Lego brick artist ,named Nathan Sawaya, has made many eye catching creations ,but the Batmobil is one of the most famous ones. He used up to 500,000 Lego bricks and it weighs about 1,500 pounds!
Once again, designed by Nathan Sawaya, is a 20 feet high Tyrannosaurus Rex, which used 80,020 Lego bricks! It holds the record of the largest skeleton made out of Lego.
As you can see, there isn't anything you can't build with Lego. There are many more world records about Lego ,which I am sure will be amazing too.
Lego and me
Over the years, I have developed a love for Lego. I have built many sets as well as putting together my own creations from loose bricks. I would love to show you some of them.
This is my Lego
hotel ,which I got with my own money. It is one of the main attractions in my city .
This is my Lego theme park ,where I set most of my Lego movies.
This amazing veiw of my whole city lets you see all the attractions including the clothes shop
This is a pizza van parked
by my hotel. I bought it a
while back and it is very
cool.
This is a taxi to complement
the hotel.
These are the mini games in the Theme park. They came in a separate set to the roller coaster.
Lego Prices
I decided to look at prices of Lego sets in different shops to see if the prices vary.
In both shops Argos and Toys R us, this set is sold at the price of £3.99.
This set is £59.99 from Argos and £59.98 in Toys R us.
This is £84.99 in Argos and £84.98 in Toys R us.
This Lego set is £59.99 in Toys R us and £57.99 in Argos
As you can see, in both ToysRus and Argos, the prices are very similar. It would appear that Lego are fixing the price range for all shops including their own Stores.
My Lego story
I recently made a Lego film on an apple app named I movie. I would have loved to show it to you but unfortunately I can't. I will be typing the story plot down so you can have an idea of it.
It all started when a sweet sister with her brother go for a calming holiday at Heartlake city. They head to the Theme Park to have some quality fun ,when 2 unkind girls push a tall helter skelter over and it turns into a disaster. The characters have to work together to save each other and help people who are hurt. The story is filled with heart break and friendships through every corner and in the end everyone is safe. But just as everything was fixed, the brother was kidnapped from the hotel! He is taken to a cage by a playmobil person ,but luckily, he is saved by his sister and a friend. Then, all is well for their family. Despite all the tragedies already, just at the end, the sister is taken and it ends...
Lego in film/TV
There are many different Lego animation shows on TV. Recent ones include:Lego Ninja-go, Nexo Knights, Lego Star Wars, Lego Friends and many more.
These were so successful that Lego decided to create a Lego movie, which had many famous Hollywood actor's voicing the characters.
The first film was "The Lego movie", which was released in 2014. Surprisingly, they made $470 million! As well as this, it won many awards: A BAFTA, A critics choice and a Golden Globe. There will be another Lego movie released in 2019.
As the first film went so well, the Lego Batman and Ninjago movies were both released in 2017. The Lego batman movie made $312 million and Ninjago made $122 million!
Lego movie toys
As The Lego movies were so successful, toys connected to the movies were produced.
Lego museum
This fabulous Lego house is new to Billand ,Denmark. All Lego fans probably desperately want to go there. 25 million bricks were used to build inside here and there are a red zone for creating, a blue zone to test your brain, a green zone for social play and yellow zone for more fun!
There are so many different events and activities there. If only there were a hotel to make your visit complete! I would love to go there some day .
Conclusion
Who would have thought that a normal person made a plastic brick and now it is one of the most famous toys in the world?
Throughout my life, I have developed a stronger bond with Lego and I will carry it down through my generations. I thank you for reading my amazing project and for all who helped me.
