One warm sunny morning, mother hen was looking after her egg when she started to get a bit peckish ''I will be back soon'' she said tucking her egg into some hay. Soon mother hen was gone,As the leaves rustled along came horse he was quite hungry too, so when he saw the hay he ate it, but the horse's velvety muzzle touched the eggs side and it tumbled away down the hill! ''Catch that egg before it cracks!'' neighed horse anxiously. As the egg tumbled down the hill pig was under an apple tree eating apples when the egg flew rapidly past her ''Catch that egg before it cracks!'' she cried as she tumbled after it. As the egg tumbled faster and faster cow was mooing and munching when she saw horse and pig shouting ''Catch that egg before it cracks!''cow acted fast''I have caught it'' she said proudly. Mother hen came flapping down the hill ''My egg!'' she wailed but then...CRACK ''oh no someone must of cracked it'' she sobbed,and again CRACK! and then a fluffy ball of yellow feathers ''It was me'' He cried ''I cracked it all by myself!''
