Our learning theme for next week will be nursery rhymes from around the world. For the challenge we ask that you take your child on a trip to the library and look at some non-fiction texts about another country. If your child is in Foundation 2, this will also help you to tick off a box on your child’s reading passport. Please post a fact that you find together on the Foundation blog and we will share it with all the children to further our learning.

We will be singing Frere Jacques and Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in French. If your child learns or knows a nursery rhyme in another language and would like to share it with us, please let us know. In cookery we will be making hot chocolate and enjoying some fresh baguette dipped in, délicieux! We will also be constructing our own monuments from around the world as well as making flags to decorate our classroom.
