Little Red Riding Hood

Please read this story with your child and ask them to tell you what they think Little Red Riding Hood should have done instead in order to stay safe.

How fast the half term goes when you are having fun! It is that time already for us to ask that you read through the targets we have given to your child for this half term. Please make comments on how they have been getting on with them, as we will be collecting the target sheets in at the end of next week. The children are making pleasing progress and we would like to thank you for your fantastic support.

Next week in cooking we will be making scrummy jam tarts. In addition, we will be learning about the best ways to keep our teeth healthy, so that we can say ‘What nice teeth you have!’ Throughout the week the children will have a range of role play opportunities using props andpuppets. In addition the children can make get well cards if they choose to.

We would like you to ask your child what other activities they would like to have provided next week. Please post their ideas and suggestions on the blog and we will do our best to provide the appropriate resources. For example they may wish to build Grandma’s Cottage using construction, or make wolf masks using furry material to decorate, it is their choice. We look forward to another fun filled week!
