Dear Diary,

When I stepped onto the train and knew there was no turning back, my heart sunk. It was like my heart was drowning in an ocean of anxiety.  Knowing that I wouldn’t see my ma again for months or even years, made me hold back. It was until the herd of children practically shoving me, I got on.

It was a long and tiring journey, but worth it. I realised all my tears, all my worrying was to waste. I was put with a young couple and they had a DOG. I've always wanted a dog. Anyway, I realised I was put with the best possible family I could get (not just because they have a dog).
