FOLD MOUNTAINS

Fold mountains are made when the earths crust is pushed together.

The biggest fold mountain is Mount Everest in Nepal.

DOME MOUNTAINS

The Dome mountains are made when magma pushes the crust into a dome shape. 

EXTINCT VOLCANO MOUNTAIN

Volcanoes are made when the lava erupts and forms a layer. The volcano

becomes a mountain when it dies.

FAULT BLOCK MOUNTAINS

Fault block mountains are made when the crack in the crust that

causes a piece to rise.
