Spring Term 2015

Dear Parent / Carers,

I hope you have had a lovely Christmas holiday and the pupils are refreshed and ready for a new term. This term, we will be finishing our 19th Century topic, and moving on to our new topic, Tropical rainforests.

I will be encouraging the pupils to read regularly at home and to complete all homework by introducing a reward game called ‘Homeworkopoly’. If your child returns their homework by Friday, they will be able to roll the dice to move around the board for a reward. If your child does have any problems completing their homework, please ask them to return it so I can help them with any difficulties.

I will be continuing to email parents, who signed up in September, the weekly year 5 newsletter. If you would like to keep up to date with our weekly learning and haven't signed up please return the form with your email address to receive the newsletter this week.

Reminders

- Homework will be sent out every Monday to be returned by Friday. The children need to read to an adult at least twice a week at home and return their homeschool link book daily.
