Bird Watch!
We have been very busy lately rehearsing for our nativity 'It's a Party!'
On Friday, we found out about garden birds we might hear or see in our garden.
We decided to make a part of our garden area more welcoming to birds.
We made bird food.
We made posters to remind people to be quiet
Some of us wanted to make a bird to help attract other birds. We had to find our own materials and work out how to put it together.
We decided to look at books and the Internet to help us answer some of our questions:
-Do birds have ears?
-What should the wing span be?
-What markings should it have?
-How can we attach the wings? Can we make them flap?
