I hope you had a wonderful weekend. This week there are only 3 days because our Easter holidays start. Here is today’s suggested timetable for anybody who is learning from home today.

Get an adult to help you with your personal calendar.
· What day it is? Is it a school day or a weekend? What day was yesterday?
· What date is it? Yesterday was the 28th so today with be…?
· What month is it?
Look outside, is it sunny or raining or cloudy? What season is it?

Physical Education/ Movement
It is always good to start the day with movement.
Every Monday is also PE in Butterflies.
You can choose between Andy’s Wild Workout’s or Otis’s Boogie Beebies. Or you can do both! Every day this week you will have both as options. Both workouts have an animal theme. Andy will take you to the African Savannah, whilst Oti will take you to the jungle.

Phonics
This week we will be focussing on the sound y.
1. Watch the video.
2. Sing the Jolly phonics, y song.
3. Use a variety of things to practice making the y shape - you could try writing the y in rice or flour or sand. You could even use your finger to write in shaving foam if you like.
4. Afterwards think about words you know that start with the y sound.
Tomorrow, you will have your home learning pack to complete the activities as normal.

This term we are thinking about the Easter story. Last week we thought about Jesus' Sacrifice. Re-watch the video from last week, but this time, focus on Jesus' resurrection.
