Hello guys,I thought I would share some facts on my
sporting hero - Eliud Kipchoge.
The Kenyan is my sporting hero because he managed
to run a marathon in under 2 hours which I think is an
amazing sporting feat. He also came first in the London
marathon, ahead of Mo farah.
From this extraordinary man we can lots of lessons from.
He has emphasised the saying "practice makes perfect"
and it is true. Imagine how many hours of practice he put in for
his runs.he has also taught us that if you have good people
around you you can go far.
Kipchoge has also demonstrated many of the Meadlands values.
He has achieved motivation by surely encouraging younger people to follow in his footsteps. He has dreamed big and achieved big. And, to top this off, he has completed two
huge challenges.
Here are some fun facts on the Kenyan. He is one of
four children and has won 12 of the 13 marathons he he has entered! he is also born on the 5th of November ( bombfire night) and has writes in a notebook whenever he completes a workout. He now has 15, one for every year he has been on the world stage.
