Anglo-saxons are the reasons we have some of the words we mention every single day, just like cheese, ghost, Essex and wherewolf. They even envented the days of the week!

Where did the saxons come from

Many of the saxons came from a part of Germany named Saxony after the saxons until they came to Kent.

War

Shortly after arriving in Kent the saxons had to prepare there weapons for war! The Romans had invaded Kent there was a huge war between the two armys.
