Dear Mum,

My eyes were a rain cloud delivering i'ts share when I had to leave you. I vomited I was so scared about my new home. I felt even more unpleasent when the whiff of manure came floating through the open window. Luke and Olivia were also sick as dogs. It felt so long untilmy nerves had gone and the train came to a sudden stop.

My nerves were in a sort of debate. Part of them were in an excited trance, part of them were in a nervous fit. Remember was all could do for the next ten minutes. Making a role model for the other two was quite hard because I aws sobbing. We found ourself with a nice couple called Mr and Mrs Golf. On the way to Croquet Street it was rather wonderful. The was the horses trotted by was beautiful. The grass was verdent but plain. Mr Golf showed us the house we were going to live in. It was called the racket house. I liked the look of it a lot.

When I saw my room, I was excited about the farm days. The only thing that was bad was the cold nights. The farm house is not well insulated. The next day I learnt how to ride a horse in the morning and learn how to hunt in the afternoon. We started work the next week. My wage is £50 a month.

We have a loathsome teacher who makes os have £0 lashes if we do a spelling mistake. I miss you,

Adam
