Our topic when we get back to school is all about the Romans. Over the holidays we would like you to complete a Roman themed project. You can present the project in any way you wish e.g. a book, a blog, a poster. You don't have to include all of the following and you can add different things, but here are some ideas of what you could research and present as part of your project:

*Who were the Celts and how long ago did they live in Britain?

*Who were the Romans? How long ago did they invade Britain?

*What kind of Roman artefacts have been discovered in Britain?

*What are Roman Numerals and how are they used?

*Where is Rome and why was it important to the Romans?

*What is Rome like as a holiday destination? What famous landmarks are still there from ancient Roman times?

*Research Roman weapons, helmets and shields.
