Joe Wicks video to get the brain going

Handwriting video then practise writing that letter correctly using the video instruction.

Watch the phonics video then practise writing a list of words using that phoneme, then write simple sentence using that day's sound and your child's phase 2 phonics mat - the words don't need to be spelt correctly but they should be phonetically plausible, remember a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence, finger spaces in between words and a full stop at the end of the sentence. Writing can be done on the mini whiteboard or on paper.

Please take a photo of your child's letter and word work and email it at a later date to feedbackeyfs@allsoulsprimary.co.uk make sure they've practised writing their name next to their work so when we print off the photos we know whose is whose work.

Home Reading can be done at any point in the day. Please see the video below on how to access your child's online ebook. I will be asking you to read 2 ebooks a week with your child and we are starting on the RED band of books.
