In Micro-society we learned about currency and how important it is and it is one of the ways to live.

We decided which was the most appropriate currency to use(the choices were shells , bars of gold , diamonds , coins , cows or Monopoly money) and we chose either coins or Monopoly money.We chose this because diamonds are very expensive as they're found in Africa and other countries which means that they're hard to get .Bars of gold will be hard to carry and hard to put in a bank.There are too many types of shells and burglars/bandits/crooks/robbers can cheat by just taking some from the sea and earning money really easily.Cows aren't good as they might soon get extinct .

In school we made our own currency and flag representing our society.Our society's name is 'The Solar Monarchs'and our name of the currency is 'Solar Stars'.We made our own names and voted.We made our own flags and designs for our currency and voted.Min-seo won for the design of our currency and Jason won the design of our flag.
