My favourite Book is called

" Diary of a wimpy kid"

The book is about a boy called Greg who makes a diary or what he likes to call a journal. The story is all about the diary of Greg's life and is set at home, in school, in the park and out on the roads.

The main characters are Greg, Rowley, Rodrick, his school friends, his mum and dad and his school teachers. My favourite character is Greg because he's really funny.

I like the book because it is funny because all of Greg's friends and Greg's older brother play jokes on each other and the jokes will make you laugh. Sometimes you have to try and guess what might happen next in Greg's life and I don't want to stop reading to find out.

My favourite part of the book is when Rodrick plays a joke on Greg when he wakes him up in the middle of the night and tells him the wrong time. Roderick tells Greg he is late for school so Greg gets ready really quick and with all the noise he makes his Dad wakes up and is annoyed because it is the middle of the night. Roderick quickly sneaks back to bed so it looks like it was all Greg's fault, it really made me laugh.

There wasn't anything in the book I didn't like, it was so funny. It is a series of books and I can't wait to read the next one.

The book is pretty easy to read and understand

because the pictures help tell the story and there is

sometimes funny speech bubbles in the pictures too.

This book is really good for children who are funny and like to play jokes on people.
