Special assembly

This week we had a special assembly about a boy called Joshua Reece. His mum had a seizure when Joshua was 4. Joshua had already learnt his full address and what to do in an emergency. He called an ambulance and thanks to his extremely quick actions one came in just 3 minutes. His mum collapsed and hit her head hard on the door frame. It was the hottest day of summer and she had a seizure while filling up the paddling pool. Joshua had his 2 year old brother around whilst his mum's seizure but he didn't really care, he just carried on eating. Joshua won lots of awards and also he was on the front page of lots of newspapers. St Johns ambulance created a video all about Joshua Reece and his heroic actions.
