Remembrance Day\Poppy Day

On 11th November 1918, during World War I, the Allied nations signed an armistice with Germany. The Allies included Britain, France, and Russia. An armistice is a paper so that temporarily it stops the fighting in a war so the two sides can come to an agreement. Although the signing of the armistice as the end World War I, many people wanted to celebrate the signing of the end of world War 1.

Usally we have a minute of silence to remember the victims of the World 1 and other conflicts.

We wear red or white poppies as a sign of remembering the millions of soldiers, people and horses that died during the first world war.
