Galileo Galilei




Galileo Galilei was born on February 1564 in Pisa, Tuscany. Galileo became a philosopher , astronomer and mathematician. He discovered that the moon has mountains and craters and that the sun has sunspots which are dark in colours. He was a great believer in the role of science and the beauty of God's creations. He died in 1642. Nowadays, he is viewed as the father of modern science.
