BALANCED DIET
A healthy diet is
also known as a
balanced diet. this
is because a balanced
diet means eating the
right amount of each
type of nutrients.
However, some foods
should be eaten more
often than others.
Although, the amount
of carbohydrates
and vegetables you
should be eating
can be controversial
because some people think
that more vegetables should
be eaten and less
carbohydrates and others
think: less vegetables
and more carbohydrates.
AN UNHEALTHY DIET
An unhealthy diet is one where you are eating too much of a particular nutrients type and/or not enough of another one. Most of the time, the commonly overeaten nutrient type is fats and sugars. This is because sugar has some sweet chemicals in it that get you addicted to it and you can't stop eating more. And, vegetables are commonly under-eaten this is because vegetables are not sweet and you are used to eating sweet foods. However, not only sugar and fat shouldn't be eaten too much, it's anything really. Too many vegetables or carbohydrates are in fact, bad for you. And same with not eating enough fats and sugars; you need nutrients from sugar and you need fat to survive. This is why it is better for you to eat a balanced diet.
