My Memory Box

I will put in the box

the glimmer from the sparkling sea at Three Cliffs Bay,

the ashes from my dead horse,

the giggle from my baby cousin when she was tickled.

I will put in the box

the shimmering petal from my auntie's wedding dress,

the squeak from my puppies toy ball,

the beautiful colours from my first felt, all dried up.

I will put in my box

the first word I said as a baby,

the scrumptious taste from my first sweet,

a blue piece of my sour lolly.

My box is fashioned from shimmering diamonds, with glittering gold sand sprinkled on top and memories in the corners. It's hinges are shimmering rainbow beads, twinkling in the light.

I shall gallop in my box through the enchanted forest, then arrive at the magical field and see my horse Billy again.
