Humanities Homework Week 1


My Information report is about Woolly Mammoths.


Habitat:

Woolly Mammoths lived in Europe,Asia and North America. Woolly Mammoths mostly lived on the mainland of the United states at the end of the last Ice Age. Grass, shrubs and plants were present and scattered trees were mainly found in southern regions.



Appearance:

Woolly Mammoths looked very similar to Asian Elephants, except for one big difference. They were covered in a thick coat of brown hair to keep them warm. They even had fur in their ears.



Diet:

Woolly Mammoths were herbivores they only ate grass and small plants called forbs.


Interesting fact:

Did you know that Woolly Mammoths tucks are up to 15 feet long.
