Hunger is a very serious problem around the world that it affects about an estimated 795 million people of the 7.3 billion people in the world, or one in nine,is suffering between 2014-2016 according to UnitedNations Food and Agriculture Organisation.

Sadly,children die every 10 seconds because of hunger because their don't have enough nutrients to function and grow

•Poor weather conditions and natural calamities in some countries destroy their crops

•The government of some poor countries do not have money to spend on growing food crops

•Food prices are so expensive that poor families can not afford them

•Food is difficult to grow and transport in war torn areas

Why is there a shortage?

•Be thankful for the food the we have on our table.

•Don't take more than what you can eat and eat what you take.

•You can grow a food garden, this way you don't have to buy them from the shops.

•And lastly, give generously to local food banks or charitys that provide food aide worldwide.
