She knew it hadn't been a good idea to leave the tap running, but now she was starting to enjoy herself as she watched the water flow out of the bath and onto the bathroom floor.

Lacey had a wonderful imagination and spent hours pretending she was doing various weid and wonderful things but today it wasn't pretend!

Lacey wanted to surf and swim with mermaids and to do that she needed water....lots of water so she turn the bath taps on as far as they would go and waited

Soon the bath was full and she knew she should turn the taps off but for some reason couldn't bring herself to do it, it wasn't long before the bath water was all over the bathroom floor and flowing onto the landing.

Lacey hoped that her parents wouldn't come in from the garden to see what was happening but usually they would be outside for hours tending to their prize winning vegetables.

Before she knew it the water was cascading down the stairs so Lacey grabbed the tray on which she had had her lunch on and sat on it and surfed down the stairs "Oh what fun she shouted with glee!" the next thing she heard was footsteps downstairs in was her Mum! She had come in to check on Lacey.

Lacey ran into the bathroom and locked the door and waited and waited her Mum must have seen the mess by now but all Lacey heard was silence!

All of a sudden there was a knock on the door, Lacey opened the door very slowly to find her Mum there smiling 'Everything OK sweetheart?' her Mum said Lacey looked amazed and startled and then as she looked around she realised none of it had been true and it was all in her imagination.......again!
