Week 4- Enterprise

This week in microsociety we had lots and lots of visitors, chose our civil servants and got into business groups.

Visitors

We had lots of visitors, my mum included.

1 Army visit

We had a visit from the army, a musician Hazel and a Commander who's name I cannot remember. They showed us what they did, let us try some of their kit on and showed us their salutes(army and navy).

2 The accountants

My mum and another accountant came to see us and talk about their jobs and why accountants are important to our society.

3 Lawyer

A lawyer came to tell us about her very interesting job, how to set laws in our society and how to make paying tax fair to everyone.

4 Banker

She came in to talk about banking and how to evenly hand out money.

Business groups

We got into our business groups and discussed what we were going to sell. My group got into making advertisements and maybe an importing business.

We then selected our civil servants ( bankers, tax officers, police and head of state) and we had an almost real election with a polling box and polling cards.
