Scarcity is a thing what people want but there is not enough

in the world.For example, diamonds, they are expensive because there are so few in the world.

Scarcity is normally resources.

We played a game called the shape game. You get split into groups (2 or more). Then you have a race against time to get as many shapes (squares circles and counters) to the banker. The

circles and the squares have to be 10cm across. Then we discussed the difference between 1st,

2nd and 3rd world countries e.g England is a 1st world country because it's got all the resources it needs. China is a 2nd world country. Ethopia is a 3rd world country.

We read the story of justenuf .There was a computer which gave everyone what they wanted. Then one day the computer broke down. Now nobody can get what they want.

How will the the captain sort this out?
