The children did so well this week learning about Autumn. We looked for signs of Autumn outside and spotted lots of seasonal changes including the leaves changing to orange and brown. We made some wonderful craft hedgehogs provided by Emily to celebrate her 4th Birthday. We will be sending the hedgehogs home next Friday. We enjoyed the story, 'The Hedgehogs Balloon' by Nick Butterworth and were fascinated by the corks that were used to cover the hedgehog's spikes. The story inspired the children to make a huge hedgehog using leaves which looks fantastic!

We also used some harvest vegetables to support math's in Foundation 1 . In Phonics we have been singing and thinking about rhyming words. Please take a look at the photos to see all the fun we have had this week!
