Puppet Theatre Wales

Nursery and Reception were very lucky to have won a competition with Swansea Libraries. We voted for our favourite story, which was The Gruffalo, and then did some fabulous artwork based on the story.
Our prize for winning was a puppet making workshop from The Puppet Theatre Wales.

Helyn from Puppet Theatre Wales sang some lovely songs to us,
spoke in Welsh and told us a Welsh fable about the "Draig Coch"
( red dragon).

Then we made our
own dragon shadow
puppets.

We then put on our own
dragon puppet show
while Helyn sangs songs
and played her guitar.

We had so much fun!!
