Outside, the wind whipped the snow across the roads.  Already you could barely see anything.  It was too cold to be out.  The snowstorm blindfolded the town, muffling the world in white silence.


Inside the warehouse, it was quite dark.  Years of dust had covered the windows with a thin layer and only a faint light filtered through.  Each footstep echoed, leaving behind a trail of footprints through the dust.  Boxes of different sizes were piled high, like strange towers.  Cobwebs hung between the boxes like lace nets.  An abandoned ladder lay at an awkward  angle across what looked like an old television set.  Its wires spilled out.  Max stood still for a moment and let his breathing settle.


It was then that he heard it.  The faintest of sounds – a floorboard creaked.  Then, another.  He stood quite still, his senses alert, straining to listen.  For a long while it was quite quiet – only the distant murmurings of the wind drifting snow.  Then somebody coughed …



Your setting description:


Outside, the wind howled like a wolf. The crisp white snow covered the ground like a huge blanket.The trees were so tall you can’t even see the top of them.CRUNCH CRUNCH Max was walking across the snow;it was like a snowstorm.Some of the snow trickled at the back of Max’s neck it made Max shiver he carried on walking shakily through the snow. The wind was enabling him to see where was going (it was challenging). To his surprise he found an old warehouse he entered happily.


He slowly walked around the warehouse, leaving footprints of snow behind him.He went towards the window shakily from all that walking in the almighty snow-storm.

Outside the snowstorm was calming down so he thought he should leave when the snow-storm stops so he sat down and tried to go to sleep.

CREAK ,Max woke all of a sudden! He looked around to see where the noise was coming from but couldn’t see anything he went back to sleep. BANG He woke up again and saw that one of the boxes fell down. At the start they were piled up but now they fell down dust was everywhere so Max couldn’t see what was in the box properly but he knew there was something...
