A Random Act of Kindness
A huge leaf looked knowingly at a whining leaf beneath him, he smiled a creased old smile which had been divided into two by his old stem.
"It hasn't rained for centuries!",the unhappy leaf moaned. His stem which split him in two was fresh and light, he was young and small - a child to you and me. The grand leaf above him grinned once more, and called out, "I shall give you some water." The little leaf looked up, astonished, as a huge drip of pure fresh water dropped off the larger leaf.
"Thank you."
